Only until the last few years, comparatively little research in psychology focused on thriving and positive strategies for personal and professional performance. Critical areas such as fulfillment, cross-contextual happiness, compelling future, gratitude, and sustainability remained largely unexplored.
In the late 1990’s, a movement began for mental health experts to explore the differences between what constitutes a life of fulfillment and one that is felt to be unfulfilled.
